StayFour Seasons Hotel Prague

A short flight from Salzburg instead of a five-and-a-half-hour drive.

Signature Moments

What made it this trip, and no other

◆

The Nutcracker at the State Opera

Christmas in Vienna, as the city itself celebrates it — a short walk from the hotel door.

◆

The Spanish Riding School

The Lipizzaners' morning exercise, followed by a private tour of Schönbrunn Palace.

◆

Two kitchens worth the trip

Steirereck in Vienna, and the Stiftskulinarium inside St Peter's Abbey in Salzburg.

◆

Hallstatt, privately

A full private day to the lakeside village of Hallstatt.

◆

Prague from the river

Prague Castle with a private guide, then two hours on the Vltava with champagne as the city lights come on.

◆

La Degustation, Prague

The last dinner — modern Czech cooking at one of the city's finest tables.

The Designer’s Thinking

Why we built it this way

Vienna to Salzburg by First Class train; Salzburg to Prague by air. The drive is five and a half hours — we would rather give you that afternoon in Prague.

Each city follows the same rhythm: a private visit by day, the markets at dusk, a landmark dinner at night. The evenings are the reward, not an afterthought.

Day one is kept empty on purpose. A long-haul flight from India into a European winter deserves a slow first day.

Each hotel is chosen for the season, not just the stars: the Sacher sits opposite the Opera, so the Nutcracker is a walk away; Schloss Mönchstein is a castle above Salzburg's old town, quiet after the markets close; and the Four Seasons in Prague is on the river by Charles Bridge, where the Vltava cruise begins.
