How We Plan

We design the journey. You take it.

Exactly what happens between your first message and your flight home — and what you hold in your hands along the way.

We don’t have packages to customise. We start with a blank page and one question: what should this trip change?

The Process

Six stages, one designer

01

A first conversation

Send us a message — on WhatsApp, Instagram or the form on this site. A travel designer replies the same day, usually within two hours, with a few questions rather than a brochure. There is no cost and no commitment at this stage.

02

The discovery call

This is where the journey is actually designed. An unhurried call, free of charge, in which you do most of the talking: the pace you travel at, what you love to eat and what you won't, the date that matters, the trip you never want to repeat. We write every answer down. Nothing you tell us is asked twice.

03

The planning fee

Before design work begins, we ask for a planning fee, tiered by how complex the journey is. It is credited in full against your trip when you book, and it moves with you if you change destination. Once design work has started it is non-refundable — it is what lets a designer give your journey their full attention.

04

Your proposal, presented

A considered proposal, walked through with you rather than emailed and forgotten: the route and why it runs in that order, each named hotel and the room we would book, the private experiences, the timings that make a day unhurried — and what we would skip. Two rounds of refinement are included.

05

Booked, and handled

Once you confirm, the work you would otherwise do for weeks becomes ours: the visa cover letter, visa-format itinerary, hotel confirmations and insurance paperwork; flights routed sensibly from your city; private transfers; restaurant tables; your food notes passed to every hotel, chef and guide before you arrive.

06

While you travel, and after

Your designer stays your single point of contact from the first message to the flight home, reachable on WhatsApp throughout. When you are back, we ask what worked and what didn't — and the next journey begins from there, not from a blank form.

What You Receive

The work, in your hands

◆

The proposal

Day by day, with every hotel named and the reason it was chosen. Honest notes on what is overrated, and when not to go.

◆

Your journey page

A private page and PDF with every day, booking, timing and contact — on your phone, and easy to share with whoever travels with you.

◆

The visa pack

Cover letter, visa-format itinerary, hotel confirmations and insurance documentation, prepared for Indian passport holders.

◆

The food brief

Vegetarian, Jain or simply particular — sent to every property and restaurant in advance, so you never explain it at the table.

What We Won’t Do

Three things you can count on

No packages

We don't have packages to customise. Every journey starts on a blank page.

No price matching

We don't compete on price or match quotes. We compete on the trip.

Honest counsel

If the season is wrong or a hotel has slipped, we say so — even when it costs us the booking.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions, Answered

Is the first call really free?

Yes. The first conversation and the discovery call are free and carry no obligation. The planning fee only applies once you ask us to begin designing your journey.

What is the planning fee, and do I get it back?

It is a fee for the design work, tiered by how complex your journey is, and it is credited in full against your trip when you book — so if you travel with us, it costs you nothing extra. It moves with you if you change destination. Once design work has started it is non-refundable.

How is this different from booking a package?

A package rearranges a template; we start from you. Every hotel, route and experience is chosen for this trip and these travellers, and one designer stays with you from the first call to the flight home.

How far ahead should I start planning?

Four to six months is comfortable for most journeys. Peak windows — the Maldives from December to April, the Great Migration, Kyoto in blossom season, European summer — reward nine to twelve. Shorter notice is a design constraint, not a dead end.

Do you book flights too?

We can, routed from your city with the connections we would choose ourselves. If you prefer to use your own miles or airline, we design around the flights you book.

How many changes can I make to the proposal?

Two full rounds of refinement are included, and small adjustments after that are handled with goodwill. Most journeys settle well within that.
